Join VFP 132 for the Albany, Oregon “Armistice Day” Parade, Saturday, Nov. 10

Billed as the largest Veterans Day parade west of the Mississippi.  The Linus Pauling VFP chapter will promote PEACE, not militarism.

Veterans For Peace, Linus Pauling Chapter 132 will again participate in the Veterans Day parade in Albany, Oregon; this year on November 10th.  Our theme is “Veterans Reclaim Nov. 11 as Armistice Day.”  Here’s a photo of our setup as it appeared last year.

And here’s a pic of the flyer we will be handing out along the parade route.

We will meet no later than 11:30am just east of the intersection of SE 9th Ave. and Jackson. Map here. Our entry number is 177 — there are well over 200 entries.

We will also be joined along the route by members of local peace organizations, Alternatives to War and Albany Peace Seekers.
