Powerful new documentary short from our Veterans For Peace chapter in the UK.
Here’s the post on their website: http://veteransforpeace.org.uk/2014/a-different-kind-of-tour-derry/
Please watch this ~20 minute documentary–the first of a three part series on VFP-UK’s peace and reconciliation tour of Northern Ireland. Very compelling stories and some poignant lessons about the way soldiers typically interact with civilians and about how a government covers its tracks.
While you’re at the VFP-UK site, sign up for their email updates to keep up with their great work.
FYI…We will watch and discuss this at our January VFP meeting on the 26th.
