Leah also displayed a set of quilts and the informational posters for the Drones Quilt Project.

There were too many workshops and plenary sessions to choose from. Here is the program and list of workshops.

Bart attended the workshop presented by Rick Jahnkow of Project YANO in San Diego and attended the first meeting of the new VFP working group on Truth in Recruiting.

Of course there were many old friends and well-known activists to visit with and learn from.

The latest VFP newsletter also has good rundown on the convention here.

Padres game.

San Diego is a great place to visit but food and especially the convention center accommodations were a bit pricey. But there was plenty of fun to be had outside of the convention.

Next year’s convention will be Berkeley, CA and will be hosted at one of the Berkeley campuses so it will be much more affordable and even closer to Corvallis.

  1. Warren Smith says:

The world peace game = 1 problem

Leaders of countries can use war to up their acceptance, i.e. GWB – Harry T – etc. and in other countries

Also gives them excuse to subjugate the citizens
